Now having straight lines with smooth panels it was time to get things prepped for paint. Tom would go over his work one last time before laying down the 1993 Mazda RX7 Yellow Mica PPG paint.

With the exterior complete it was time to bring things down to a much-improved level. The stock suspension would all be trashed and replaced by a set of refabbed Chassis Tech strut bags with fast valves to bring things up and down quickly. A front strut tower bar would also help keep things tight in the corners. Next the sub frame would be cleaned up and painted black. One more item at hand for the exterior would be the replacement for the exterior. A set of 18x8.5 Giovanna Barletta's, which have been wrapped in Yokohama Parada 225/40's would be Tom's choice of shoes.

This would leave the interior to have reworked to Tom's standards. This would all be left to Jason Knauft of Bitchin' Stitchin', Spokane, WA. Jason would first start with the dash, which would be wrapped in graphite tweed along with yellow inserts.

The doors would be done the same along with a coble stone look followed with a set of flames. Keeping things flowing, the headliner would receive the same attention. Other interior panels would be smoothed out and painted, including the rear deck.
