 Now for what sets this truck apart from all the other Excursions on the road, the suspension. Deciding that the stock suspension wasn't good enough, Paul opted for a 13" suspension lift. This along with the 44" Super Swamper Boggers mounted on a set of 16.5x12 Weld Outback's provided some serious lift for the Excursion.

  To stiffen up the suspension and provide better control for this heavy SUV, a set of 5-foot Fabtech ladder bars, both front and rear, were added. The shocks were swapped out for a set of 5 shocks per wheel all on custom mounts. There are now a total of 20 shocks. A 4-shock stabilizer system was also added to the front end. The 12" springs were painted to match the truck before they were bolted in.
