On my roof the only places we could spot weld were in the front on either sides of the pillar, and in the back in the same spots. I did a total of 16 spot welds on the roof. I then etch primed the bare metal where the spot welds are. Let the roof sit overnight before you attempt to do anything else.

Next the car was pulled in the booth and taped up. After the car was prepped for sealer and paint I applied the seam sealer to the roof so that no water could leak in. After putting on my mask and mixing the paint I was ready to step into the booth. I first sprayed a few coats of Standox Sealer to the roof and let it dry. I then based out the roof with Dupont Taffeta white, and then cleared it with Dupont clear. The car was then baked. I wet sanded the roof with 2000 wet and buffed it so that it had a nice glass appearance. I then hand glazed my whole roof. The roof that I chose to use had factory sunroof in it. I reinstalled the sunroof, and attached the drain tunnels. I then called our friend Mike from Glasscar windows to reinstall the windows. After the windows were back in the car I put the interior back in and the car was now finished.
