On the inside of the lights I sanded it down and etched it, then applied a few good coats of undercoat. I then applied POR15 around the inside of the quarters were the welding was done.

Tools required
1) Welder 2) Grinder(s) 3) Hammer and Dolly 4)Air hose 5) Sanding blocks and sanding boards.
Materials required
1) Weld Seal 2) Etch Prime 3) Duraglass/Plastic/Skim 4) Sand paper 5) High build Prime 6) Guide Coat 7) Paint materials/Clear 8) Undercoat
These are just the materials that I used. Some people may do the job different then me so some of this stuff may not be required for how you do it. The POR15 was just an extra measure to protect the metal from any rust down the line. Because I did not work on the car in a straight time period and I did it on my own time the whole process took me about a good 4 week period working on it 2 days a week. If you pulled the car into a shop you could probably get it done in 3 to 4 days work. I don’t recommend this job to anybody who doesn’t have experience welding/doing bodywork or a friend/coworker that can help them because there is a lot of welding involved as well as bodywork.
