Under the hood, Dave complimented his already show-worthy Ford by making changes to the 4.2 V-6 engine. Dave started by using a Honda Civic intake and modifying it to work with the Ford engine. The battery was relocated behind the front bumper and a Mustang power booster was put in place of the stock one. A Bassani cat-back exhaust system was installed to allow the Ford to breathe better. To keep from getting things in a bind, Jim Martin Machine Shop in Plymouth, Florida cut the stock driveshaft down a total of 7/8”.

Finally, to roll with the big boys, Dave chose 20’s for his Ford. Searching for the right wheel can make or break a ride, and Dave took this to heart. In the end, Colorado Custom Slater 5’s were bolted up in the 20x8 fashion. Michelin 255-35-20 rubber was installed at all four corners as well.
