Back in 1996, Jason Swinford of Valparalso, Indiana purchased a new Ford F-150 4x4 truck and decided to build something no one else in his area had. Three years and almost $50,000 later, Jason racks up First Place trophies and Best Of Show trophies that he attends all over the Eastern seaboard The first stop in the long journey of Jason’s Ford was Auto Trix in Kokamo, Indiana for a suspension upgrade. There, Jason’s cousin went to work raising his Ford to a new height that would make other’s turn their heads and stare. Utilizing products from Superlift, a five-inch lift kit was installed and Superlift shocks were also put in place. 16x9 ½ Billet Specialties wheels were installed front and rear, and huge Mickey Thompson 39’s were put in place.
