With the newfound body sporting the aerodynamic look, Donald would need to give the Del Sol suspension a whole new structure to allow performance on all levels to be complete. Feeling that the need not to drag the kit on the ground whether it going in and out of parking lots to hitting bumps in the road, Donald was looking for an alter suspension he would feel comfortable with.

To put these concerns at ease, a complete set of Blow Jacks air ride system would be installed for much needed lift on the go. Before installing the new suspension mounts and pieces, much of it would be powder coated by Cararra Industries of Anderson, IN. Now that the new air suspension was in place, it was time to prepare for performance whether it would be on the strip or street.

To help keep a level plain while entering and leaving corners at high speeds, a set of Jamex upper front and rear strut bars would be mounted along with a Neuspeed lower strut brace. Ensuring that all performance was smooth with the corners and bumps, the use of Energy Suspension bushings would be needed.
Everything almost complete, Donald knew the power plant about ready to be put in would be in need of stopping ability with quick response. Utilizing crossed drilled rotors front and rear; Donald would be able to stop pretty much on a dime at any speed. Goodridge steel braided brake lines would supply the new brake set up with the fluid needed.

With handling performance no longer an issue, and the suspension bringing the body of the Sol down to meet with the 17x7 Racing hart C2 wheels snuggled in 205/40 Toyo Proxes, it was time to move to the engine bay.

The engine usually found amongst the Del Sol is one of pep. Not usually shy of taking out competition on the streets, Donald had better and faster ideas in mind. With friend Mark Ramirez being a Honda/Acura technician, the list of modifications would be a task easily taken on.
