Trikkin out is one of those shows that I have been excited about for months now, and finally it was time for the show. I had everything planned out I would hook up with a buddy load up the trailer with his car and pull it down to Houston with my girls Tahoe, that sounds like a great plan right? Well Friday night as I am waiting to go pick up the trailer I used my super powers of pissing my girl off and since the Tahoe is hers she made it known that the truck is hers and that I was not going to use it for my journey. Well to make a long Friday night I kissed ass like I have never kissed before and needless to say this was a great start to a wonderful weekend. Once the drama was over we loaded my buddies car up on the trailer and made arrangements to meet up around 6 the next morning to start our journey. With the weather looking ruff in Dallas we got on the road with no delay and hauled ass to Houston. The ride was nice and smooth, no traffic or cops well at least for us there wasn't but as soon as we were on the road for the show Johnny law was sitting there with one of the EC guys pulled over. As we pulled into the show around 10 the show was looking a little small maybe 20 cars and I know Chris and the lesser degree guys were sweating bullets, luckily around 12 the Severed Ties and Negative Camber guys made there mark and showed up in full force to help fill up the shows parking lots and join the other clubs such as Explicit Concepts and Gravity Permits that made it down from Dallas the night before. For show entertainment we had guy getting pulled around on pallets, guys with afros in bikinis and Explicit Concepts found a new love with mirrors trying to blind everybody around and highlighting all nice tits & ass running around the show, Also on hand was the numerous attempts to flip a golf cart or see how many minitruckers could fit on a golf cart. I also think crazy Carl (not big Carl) and some of the other ST guys decide to play bumper cars with a mini-van and a s-10 on the way to lunch while a couple guys trusted my driving well enough to ride on the trailer in lawn chairs about a mile up the road to schlotskies were we had an interesting conversation over other peoples shit. Unfortunately there was nobody hurt in all these activities; I know I wanted to see the bikini guy bust his ass on the pallet.

As the show came to an end the awards were given out quickly and to the deserving people. Once the awards were done it was time to find our hotel and freshen up for the after party that lesser degree had planned out for us. The after party was the perfect time for everybody hang out and catch up on happenings and partake in the first ever shopping cart races. I am not to sure on who won all these races but it was funny as hell watching drunks push drunks around a parking lot while downing beer, soon as the shopping carts got old it was time for some good ole beer chugging contests and yes a girl did beat a guy but I am not naming any names nor am I going to name the club he was in because him and his friends have been embarrassed enough, and even my drunk ass couldn't have beat that girl. So keep your head up Chris there is always next time…oops! After all the fun was over at the after party Jay and the Severed Ties crew made me feel welcome at there local topless bar "The Trophy Club". While there I had my few rounds and fell in love with our waitress and watched Lisa tip the lovely ladies more than her husband did. Now that it was coming on 2 o'clock and I could barley walk it was time to head back to the hotel and prepare for my trip home. After grabbing a feature we headed over by hooters to start my traditional get drunk on Sunday routine and say are good byes. Now that we were on the way home and I had a small buzz I couldn't just call it a day I caught wind of EC having a Summer Slam watching party so I had to go to that. A few hours later I was at home and thanks to the ST and EC guys I was once again barely walking but I did make it to my house were I sat and thought about how fun my weekend was.And I came to the conclusion that Trikkin Out 2001 might have been small in numbers but it was Huge in quality and fun. I would like to thank Chris and the guys from Lesser Degree for all there hospitality and Jay, Robert and the Guys from ST Houston and The Trophy Club for making me feel at home.Chas Nichols Bagdpyro@aol.comwww.worldslowest.com
