When you own a vehicle and you want it to be different, the best way is to modify it beyond recognition. That is exactly what Terence Newber from Charlotte, NC has done with his 1993 Toyota Corolla. His car has been altered so far from the factory specs that it takes most people a few minutes to figure out what kind of car it is. To get a car to this point, you gotta start some where. Terence purchased his ride back in 1995 and began on his first custom adventure, but not the way most people would start. The Corolla started out as a daily driven "speaker box" on a set of 14" 3-star wheels. Terence removed all the rear panels and the back seat, he decided to wall the car off behind the front seats and install 16 - 10" subs. After dominating the Carolinas stereo competitions for a few years and running out of people in his class to beat, he decided it was time to change the look of the car. The wall was removed and the interior was reinstalled. This time Terence decided to go for the custom look and leave the stereo competitions behind.
