Almost near completion, Andrew focused under the hood of his Mazda. First, the firewall was sandblasted and two-toned to match the exterior. Next, the block was painted House Of Kolor Trublue. Andrew had the valve cover chromed and installed a Weber carburator. The factory radiator was removed and replaced with an Afco aluminum model, helping to keep the Mazda running cooler on those hot Mississippi summer days. The unsightly plastic overflow tank was trashed and replaced with a shiny new billet model. The exhaust duties come from a high-flow Flowmaster system. Finally, Andrew installed an Optima blue top battery, to match his now completed Mazda.

To finalize everything, Andrew bolted on Billet Specialties Hustler rims in the 18x7 fashion, wrapped in low profile 215-35-18 rubber from Nitto. With everything said and done, Andrew seems to be doing exactly what he had intended with his project truck - having fun. Andrew couldn't have made it without the help of Denny Phillips, Alex Pickett and the understanding of his wife and daughter.
