Well as I sit here at my desk tired as hell all I can think about is, what a great weekend I had. Once again Roger and the guys and gals of midnight fantasies put on a great show. This year was the best lake front tour I have ever been to. I have been going to this show since 98 and this was the very first year that it didn't rain. The weather was perfect and I bet Roger was feeling great when he watched the weather man on Friday night. As I woke up earlier than early on Friday morning I flipped on the weather and everything was looking great for the road trip. So I hopped in my car headed to Insane Designs to pick up my truck that was having the roll pan fixed after a run in with a man whole cover the week before. Once I pulled up to the shop I talked to mike for a while before noticing that I left my check book at home (30 minutes away) and I wasn't going to be able to pick the truck up. Well with bad luck already coming after me I left the truck at the shop, got in the car and hurried up to meet up with Kevin, yuhoe, Christina, Big Al and Momma. So the group is together and gassed up we where on our way. We made it down the road about an hour before our first stop. At this point I knew it was gonna be a long trip due to Christina being 4-5 months pregnant. But its all good I had a fun trip down there taking the scenic route that did shave off about an hour of the total trip so I was happy. After about 5-6 stops on the way down there we crossed the Louisiana state border and with only about 20 miles left to go Kevin had to stop one last time just to see how much I would complain. I am not good with road trips especially when I am riding by myself. I like to get to where I am going and get it over with, I will enjoy the scenery at 100mph.lol Once we arrived at the show grounds every one unloaded and parked their trailers. I on the other hand when searching for the party, like usual. I checked into my hotel, chunked my bags in the room and headed off to find Bobby Bell, Rick D, Pasqually and this legendary happy hour they have been talking about for a month. Believe it our not they were telling the truth. We sat at the hotel lobby and had all the free drinks we could get while watching the sickest magic tricks performed by the bar tender. Soon as the buzz kicked in we were off to the casinos where I would hook up with radar, Jennie and the craps table. I'm not going to go deep in to this but the 3 of us kicked ass on the craps table, all of us walked away big winners for the night.

As we left the casinos we all headed back to the hotel to hang out, but only this time they got to hang out with out me. I got sick for some weird reason and I ended up sleeping until around 4 and by then everyone else was outta there. Saturday morning I was feeling good and ready to roll. I grabbed my camera along with Kevin and we got the show shot quickly and found us some nice features top shoot later on in the day. With the shooting done I had the chance to hang out with people I don't get to see very much and watch some cool activities like the stunt bikes and tug-o-war lastly I got to check out the stereo competition which I never get to see cause I am always so busy. 4 o'clock came around and it was time once again for me to work, oh poor me I had to shoot the bikini contest. Like every year Roger gathered up some good looking women and stuck them on stage for our viewing pleasure. As the show closed it was time to do some features, and let me tell you guys and gals this. Ben, Kevin and myself snagged some badass vehicles that yall are gonna love to look at. We are very excited about these features they all turned out dope, especially the "late night on the water" vehicle. I am not gonna tell you what is coming up I'm just gonna tell you that your gonna love what Kevin did with this model and this vehicle. But on to write-up. After the shots were shot, we all headed off to dinner where we would eat some sea-food and try to make fools out of ourselves. Soon after eating it was off to the casinos were we would be so lucky tonight but we did have fun. Unfortunately I missed the dragging festivities but from what I heard it was a drag session that would make Showfest smile. Word on the street is that Pasqually was all over the place dragging the hell out of his blue s-10, if this is true I will be first to say "THAT'S MY DAWG". I taught him every thing he knows. Just kidding. If you ever go to the casinos down there remember the cards are dirty and Chris and the guys from Kontradictions will shut down a hot roulette table. With the table shut down this was my sign to head back to the hotel, as I was walking off the boat Bill from extensive metal works grabbed me and told me I wasn't done yet. Needles to say I was up a lil for the night but after betting with the big ballers I was back to even. Finally I had to duck out when nobody was looking so I could get some shut eye. I ended up hitting the bed about 4 o'clock or so, luckily Daniels girl kept my side of the bed warm for me. j/k
