Well it is hard to believe that 2003 is coming near the end. Seems like just the other day it was May and summer was starting. This year to date has been a good one for us here at SSM as we covered more shows then ever before, and have brought you more features then ever before. If it wasn't for my great staff of photographers this could have never of been accomplished so a THANKS goes out to them. This past month I found myself at 2 events that I've never attended before. Severed Ties Octoberfest in So. California, and Mini Madness' Slamfest in Tampa, Florida. They were both at the top of my list but in different ways. For one Octoberfest was a one-day show, and as a one-day event it had a spectacular turn out and drew a nice crowd from out of state, which is always good for Southern California. Now Slamfest was another story. This was a great weekend show with plenty to see and do. Both shows have great coverage and plenty of photos for you to look at. We also have Indy Truck Bash, Lake Charles and Summer Streets coverage. It has been awhile since we've put out an all-big body issue so I took this opportunity of having some great full-sizes to bring this issue alive. This months cover ride is none other then David Shulman's from AcrophobiA Florida. I'm sure you've all seen Catch 22 in other mags or on other sites, but what we bring to you is a lot of great photos to get an over all feel for how amazing this ride truly is. Then there is Duck's Dually from Negative Camber. One of the top Dually's in our scene for sure. There are 2 other features not to forget about either; Matt from Tx with his Chop topped Chevy and Ryan from Class Act of Oregon with his full-size extra cab. These rides are definitely worth taking a look at.Well I'll stop rambling now and let you all get to the issue (as if you read this junk anyway… haha). Incase you forgot, SEMA is upcoming and I can be found either at the Tattoo shop (Pricz.com for location) or at Casino Royal at the cheap tables. The casino is located across from the Mirage. Peace!Garrick ArendsEditorGarrick@StreetSource.com
