The summer of 2010 will go down as one of the hottest in minitruckin’ history without a doubt. However, this year the weather decided to cut us all a break and while the highs were in the low 80s the rides were smoking at this year’s All Star Event. This 7th annual event put on by Relaxed Atmosphere was amazing. With the season winding down, people came in force to have one more weekend n the sun. When it was all said and done, 394 entries graced the show grounds for the 2 day event. Vendors on hand included Cambered Videos, The Little Shop of Horrors, DEW Brand Clothing & Kicker. The food vendors stayed busy serving up some of our favorite car show food and the amazing cherry lime-aid to the few thousand people showing or spectating. Saturday saw some new events to keep the crowd entertained including frozen pizza eating contest, chocolate milk chug, in heels relay race and the now infamous team drag show. Once the sun was down, the on-site dragging once again made its return with people lining up to rail down the strip. Sunday was just as nice as Saturday, and the RA crew even kicked off the world’s fastest awards a little early. Top club participation honors went to No Regrets this year while Freaks Of Nature took home the club games award. Look for this show to return yet again in 2011, same place, same weekend.
