It was back in 1995, Tom’s girlfriend at the time discovered a 1994 Chevy C-1500 that was very clean and for a reasonable price. Struck by love at first sight, Tom’s decision was to purchase this beast. Well, after the purchase, many long nights and weekends would follow. As some guy’s come to find out, their friends of the female persuasion are not always keen to this. So with the “you spend to much time working on your truck!” comment, Tom found himself alone but with a much stronger relationship. The truck would now become his relationship that only he could control. At the age of 33 and after being involved with the sport for almost 20 years one way or another, it was time to get serious.
