Such isn't the case for this heavy hauler. It is the work of the twin brothers Mike and Kevin Hyde from Memphis, TN. After building a couple smooth rides already, the twins rolled upon their next project in February of 1999 in front of a store. After making a phone call to it's owner, and laying down the funds needed to adopt the 1993 Chevy Crew Cab one-ton heavy hauler it was then time to turn it into a head turning piece of art.

The heavy hauler was brought to Clyde Bynum at Silver Star Customs in Horn Lake, MS to make the altitude match the attitude of the truck. Once at Silver Star, Clyde installed a set of Beltech spindles, Firestone air bags on all four corners, a step notch and then opted to two link the rear-end.

Wanting to use inert compressed gas to raise the truck off the ground Clyde didn't want the twins to run out of the precious resource in the middle of no were, so he built a custom dual tank rack just incase the twins get a little to carried away dragging the hauler on the Memphis streets.

While the twins knew that there truck one day might have to actually perform the work Chevy had designed it for they let Clyde work some magic and build a one-off goose neck hitch for the bed of the hauler. Not feeling that the truck was low enough the twins called upon the help of Kevin Holland of Gulfport, MS to take a little T.L.C. and his favorite sawzall and perform what would separate this hauler from the rest. Kevin skillfully performed the 3" body drop to plant the rockers firmly on the tarmac.
