The event was held at the Atlantic City Convention center, which is huge. You have to drive through the center of AC to get there and there are casinos and stores everywhere. Upon entering the show we got to park in a parking garage, which was loaded with modified cars. I got into the show around 11am, and there was already a big crowed of people. The first car I that caught my eye was a mid 90s Honda Civic Hatch with a Cadillac front on it, LV wrapped roof, and wide body kit. Parked near by was a 96 Civic with a wide body kit and a Silvia front end that was immaculate. As I walked around the show I saw a lot of companies selling there products including Stewart Warner Performance, Absorber, Stoner Cleaning products, and many performance parts booths.

I have to say the quality of the rides at the show this year amazed me. The show was huge, and overall I would give the show two thumbs up. There where a lot of highly modified rides at the show, and it was a very “show ready” atmosphere. This year’s theme seemed to be big drops, big wheels, and big motors. A lot of cars that where featured in magazines where on display, and many shops had there rides out also. I look forward to attending more of the HIN/HID. Check the coverage out yourselves and you will see that this is not a show to miss.Doug Large aka Douggie Fresh
