There would be many things with the C10 Dean would change up over time, but for starters the suspension would be reworked to his liking. To manage this feat Dean would install a Brothers Trucks Panhard bar, rear springs and shocks at all corners.

Next s set of SSBC rear brake disc conversion and front brake upgrade kits would be installed behind the 18x10 Billet Specialties Vintech dish wheels. Steel braided brake line would then be run to the new brake kits.

The new brake kits would come in handy for what Dean had in store for underneath the hood. For starters the stock engine would be swapped out in favor of a ’90 Chevy Z24 V8 power plant. As if the new power plant wasn’t enough Dean would have it beefed up utilizing Comp cams, GM Performance Vortech heads and Edlebrock 600 cfm carburetor. Helping with the cooling system Dean would go with Old air products dual electric fans with US radiator.

A set of Walker hugger style headers would then be installed along with their 2.5” stainless exhaust capped by Walker mufflers. An Edlebrock intake system would cap off the performance while a Powermaster 140 amp alternator helps provide the necessary current. Not wanting to lose power to the wheels Dean would then have a ’96 GM 700R4 Auto overdrive transmission installed. Tommy May of Lamar May Alignment, McComb, Ms would handle the engine build up and performance upgrades while Ron Yates of Summit, MS would paint the drive train mineral metallic.
