Now starting your own business, there is no better way to show what you can do in the custom automotive scene other then to have a shop ride of pimp stature. Well over the years Chris would begin the process of building the ride to do just that. After the first go around of mint green paint with pink scallops, shaved exterior along with a canopy cut with a walk-thru would have Chris demonstrating some talents picked up over the years. Not satisfied and ready to start something new, Chris decided to sell the Mazda for $7500. After a few years of uncertainty, Chris bought the Mazda back in 1993 and decided to fill the walk-thru alone with bagging it. Once again feeling he needed something else it was sold in 1994 for $4000. Then bought back again in 1995, Chris decided that this was the final go around and to bring the soon to be bad ass Mazda to it's current status of the Hunkster!
The Hunkster
Knowing what needed to be done for recognition, Chris first took to the body for some cutting. With a 2-inch body drop in place, Chris would need to work the frame rails in order to bring the suspension down with the body.
The Hunkster
The frame would under go a long list of modifications including being sectioned and notched. While Chris was at the frame the decision was then to completely shave and smooth it entirely from front to back.

The Axles where re-drilled to 5 on 4 ½ and the brake lines where all polished for added judge wows. With the rear receiving the first of the much needed adjustments, Chris welded in a TCI triangulated 4-link Helping lift for desired ride height, Firestone airbags where installed along with a set of chrome Pro shocks for a smoother ride.
