The Hunkster
Helping the engine breath, Chris custom built an intake system, which was capped off by a K&N filter. With the new intake system, the entire un-needed vacuum holes where welded up and grinded smooth to be chrome plated. All aluminum pieces would be polished, all of the steel pieces that could unbolt were to be chrome plated, and all of the hoses would be steel braided.

As you can see, Chris didn't leave one item untouched in the engine bay.
The Hunkster
Chris feeling that the need for speed was a little greater then what he anticipated, a few more quick get items would be received for the Mazda. For starters, Chris installed a Pacesetter Header chromed by Performance Coatings in Auburn, WA. To cap off the custom exhaust system would be a stainless steel Supertrap. The distributor would be polished, and to help spark an MSD Blaster 2 Coil along with a set of 8mm purple Taylor wires would be installed. The stock transmission would then be chrome plated and the installation of a Centerforce clutch and pressure plate would be utilized. The shifter would be cut down 3-inches and the drive shaft would be shortened 1-inch to finish things off.
