To make sure the Ford lay as low as possible, Chad decided to perform a 4.5" body drop. This made what was left of the rockers lay flat. This also made sure that "half" of the 18" Niche Shocks were tucked behind the fenders.

The body drop and suspension work was done by the owner with the help of the guys at Str8twizted Customs in Kannapolis, NC who have turned out their fair share of custom trucks.

While they had the suspension apart, Chad also installed a complete air bag system and TCI 4-Link. Being Chad is a paint and body man by trade, making sure this truck had all the body mods necessary to take on the show scene was not a problem.

When he got the truck, it already had some bodywork done, but that was quickly stripped out and redone to make sure everything would be perfect. Chad first did the usual and shaved the door handles and antenna. He didn't stop there! Starting at the front, the side markers on the fenders were shaved.

A billet phantom grill was also added to smooth out the front end. Next the cowl was shaved and then welded to the fenders for a drastic transformation. Once you go to this level of modifications, you can't go back. Now at the back of the truck, there is a new skin along with taillight fillers and a roll pan all welded up to completely smooth off the rear.
