When you think of import shows in the Texas area what better place to show them off than Import Expo. This show has grown faster than any other Texas based show and they can prove it. What show is better to attend than one were you have pay outs and huge trophies. Import Expo has one of the biggest ranges of Import cars and this is the show that if you have any reason to brag you can prove it here.As we pulled into the Arena parking lot we could already see that we would be waiting in line to get Mark and my car in and completely setup. After a night of waiting we finally managed to get both rides in with just enough time to lock the doors and head off to the hotel. The next morning we woke and were off for a morning of cleaning and polishing. Every year this show gets larger and larger and the competition is there to prove it.After lunch we set off to cover the show, after walking about a quarter of the show we ran into numerous vendors. Low Inc had their array of fine vehicles out as well as Kenny Tran and the Jotech civic and NSX. Nitrous Express and Vinyl Mayhem were a few of the other vendors that lined the halls of the Houston Arena. Models, models, models, I feel safe in saying almost EVERY Import Model you can imagine attends this show every year. After finishing off the show it was time to head off to the cars and get them wrapped up to head back to the hotel. We had a long drive home the next morning and wanted a good night sleep. If you are planning a show schedule for next year be sure you plan to attend Import Expo in Dallas, Houston or various other locations they hit each year. By Kevin McCanlies
