Friday afternoon we pulled out on our way to Kentucky not knowing what to expect. Me and my friend show up at XtrmLzNC(Brandon)’s house and load the Protégé 5 and hit the road. On the way there we pass “Hillbilly Holler” along with a nice big rebel flag sitting in the middle of the trailer park. Three hours later we roll in to Whitesburg Kentucky, population 1200, find our hotel and get unloaded. We load up again and head to the main event, downtown the place to be if you like to roast your tires and do some railing. They blocked of downtown and let you do what you want. In front of the courthouse got the most abuse with black marks and tire remains laying everywhere. Around 9:30 we head to Wendy’s for some food, which happened to be the only place open other than Food City. The hotel we stayed at was beginning to fill up quickly as well as the people in the parking lot. Then the parting began. Around eleven Brubaker with his taco came dragging through and met one of KY’s finest. While the cop was talking to Brubaker , JW decided he was going to rail past the cop and piss him off but the cop was cool and told us to have a good night. Drinking and railing continued until about five in the morning. Saturday morning we wake up to a thick blanket of fog. The show grounds were already beginning to fill up. The fog lifted around eleven and the show was going strong. With around 300 entries it was a great one day event. I will definitely be back next year and would like to thank all the people that put this show on, thanks for the greatest time I have had in awhile at a show.David Lippardrednteg@yahoo.com
