Of course what is a kustom without a mural. Murals in the mid 90's were slowly relegating themselves more to lowriders. The Last Look brought the mural back into consideration on minis. Still not a standard, when done right, murals always increase the interest factor of any kustom. Especially when they tell a story. This hood told the story of the truck, and Kal Koncepts throughout the early 90's. To put it simply,...a lot of people loved the hood,...and a select few didn't. Perhaps because they were on it!, Hey, they are kustom painters,..not role models. When I talked to Dion and told him that SSM had shot Last Look for a feature I could tell he was just as proud today of his creation as he was 10 years ago when he tore the truck scene a new one with a truck that still hold the mini truck scene to a standard few have since reached.

As I understand this truck went thru HELL after Dion sold it. From an Idiot in New York that tried to use it as a daily driver… yeah I know dumb ass, to being sold 1-2 times on EBay, a local sheriffs sale to its present owner. The owner now has taken all efforts to restore Last Look to its original condition. Although several items are now missing from the truck it still remains the value and admiration of many of followers in the mini truck scene. Special thanks go to Dion for helping me with this article. Shaun CarlsonDion GiulianoCraig FraserBen Husser
