Life is full of surprises. Every day we are presented with a new set of challenges that we must overcome to continue on with our lives, whether that be at work, home, or during our regular routines. Maybe it’s a challenging case at your law firm or maybe a customer has just brought in their ’93 Mazda Miata and wants lambo doors and a 572 Chevy big block. Maybe your car broke down in the middle of the highway during rush hour and your kids are late for school. Or maybe a man walks into your shop and asks you to design a large penis swinging on a swing set and to permanently implant this on their thigh. Okay, well maybe not everyone faces this sort of challenge but welcome to the world of Jesse Smith. While working out in San Diego, California last year, Smith was approached by a man wanting a swinging dick on the inside of his thigh. Explaining that this was in honor of the group formed by him and a couple buddies who had all been cheated on by their girlfriends, “The Swinging Dicks,” Smith boldly took on the challenge, willing to do anything to make his patrons happy (actually, he had a couple of spots open and needed the cash). After mulling the idea around of how to make male genitalia aesthetically pleasing in general, let alone to a guy, Smith finally came up with a design that both he and the client enjoyed, artistically that it is. “Since then, I have received a ton of positive feedback from that particular tattoo,” Smith says. “It's been one of those tattoos that come up in conversation all the time.”
