To make a quick move from laying flat to 4x4 status, Phat Rides installed a total of four ARO electric fast valves. Two Thomas compressors fill the seven gallon tank, and 3/8" copper hardline was used for plumbing purposes. Rolling stock consists of 17x8" Eagles in the front, using BFGoodrich 235-35-ZR17 rubber. In the rear, Sam went a little larger with 17x9.5" Eagles with BFGoodrich 275-40-ZR17 rubber. With the exterior ready for show, Sam moved on to the phase of his project - the interior. Dropping his Caprice off to the experts at Leather Trim Limited in Ft. Worth, Texas, Sam left his Caprice in their hands to create a show-worthy, yet comfortable interior. First, Josh at Leather Trim removed the dash and wrapped the top-side in two-tone gray tweed.

The bottom half of Sam's dash was treated to custom paint work. After returning the dash to it's home, Josh removed the door panels and shaved the door pockets. Next, they were wrapped in the same two-tone gray tweed and reinstalled.
