Now that this store had achieved this notoriety, Peter felt it was time to branch out and open a second store. This time it was in Asheville, North Carolina. Having a hard time finding a suitable building to hold the second Mean Street store, Peter settled for a small store off the main roads. After about two years this second store outgrew its original home, so it became time to get a bigger, better and better located building. That's exactly what he did in early 2004.

The new store had a full bay just like the store in South Carolina so now parts could be installed at both locations. After walking into the new store for the first time, I knew it had to be shown to the public. From over 100 sets of wheels in stock, to the more than a dozen full body kits on hand (some hanging from the ceiling) to every part imaginable I've yet to see a store top this one anywhere in the south east. Mean Street carries everything from wheels, tires, body kits, wings, 4x4 accessories, domestic performance parts, gauges, air suspension, lighting, etc, etc.
