Tahoe’s are notorious for their huge frame rails, and those would not cut it for Dan’s Hoe. He started by doing a 2 in frame cut, which is why Dan’s Hoe looks lower than most, and boxing the whole frame then added a large step notch. He then lifted the gas tank 4 inches and section the tank 3 inches to keep it out of view. He then fully bagged the truck so it would lay frame rails all the way around on the set of 20x8.5 Weld Evo Axis wheels with 255/35/20 rubber that Dan had mounted up to his ride.

Yet to make the truck lay all the way around, some interior modifications needed to be made. Dan started by making some rear wheel tubs and raised the rear floor. Up front, the Hoe needed to have a set of front tubs fabricated up as well. With those things done, the Hoe had its dash wrapped in gray tweed with stars throughout and painted the trim pieces in flat black.
