Shop Tour - Dezine Werxz Renderings are a popular part of the automotive industry these days with everyone wanting to see some completed project on paper before it's even complete. Many people are creating renderings these days but most are drawn by hand using the old techniques that renderings are already known for. And then there's Chris Hanson. Chris, by day, is a graphic artist for Hypertech, the company we all know and love so much for helping us squeeze extra ponies from our engines. Every time you open a automotive publication and see a Hypertech ad, you are more than likely looking at his work. By night, Chris operates Design Werxz, a side project creating renderings as potential projects, as well as for people who are in the process of building their latest and greatest project.

Chris took a different approach when it came to creating the renderings that he's responsible for. Instead of using the old-school paper route, Chris decided to use his vast computer arts knowledge and created renderings, using actual photos of vehicles and accessories that are to be added. The final product gives you a much better idea of what your vehicle will look like. The following pages show many ideas that Chris has, some being just ideas and others being actual vehicles that are currently being built. We included small text inserts written by Chris himself giving a description of what he had in mind when he created the renderings.
