Wanting to save on weight T.J. ordered a set of lightweight 19" Racing Hart C2's shod in Nitto 555 225/35/19 skins. To lower the car to a better handling level T.J. installed a set of Eibach 1.8" lowering spring to the front and 1.5" lowering springs to the rear. To ensure the front end stayed geometrically correct under hard steering conditions all the factory bushings were replaced with Energy Suspension urethane bushings. To brace the rear end from sway a DC Sport rear lower strut bar was then installed.

Not wanting the Type S to be all show and no go T.J. had the crew at Illusions add an AM pulley kit, NOS 50 shot of nitrous and an Injen cold air intake to the Acura BC5. 2.0 motor. To ensure spent gasses exited the motor a 3" cat back Cuda dual carbon fiber exhaust system was then installed.

A custom billet diamond plate cover was hand made to replace the dull factory plastic engine cover. A carbon fiber valve cover was then added to the engine bay. All this backed up by the factory 6 speed was sure to take the car to some of T.J.'s best E.T. passes of 13.8@ 106mph and not wanting to know were or when T.J. ensured me he has seen 160 top end.

But hey that wasn't on the Louisiana roads right T.J. That was at a track right? (that's just incase the law dawgs are reading this we wouldn't want to see T.J. get in trouble.)
