Hot Import Nights - Los Angeles
Hot Import Nights - Los Angeles
This was the first of sixteen Hot Import Night (HIN) events of this 2004 season and it was predicted to be the largest event since HIN began in 97. Due to the number of exhibitors and vehicle owners requesting to attend, the show had to be enlarged by 100,000 sq. ft. So I went into this show with huge expectations and couldn't wait to get this show season off to a start.
A quick walk around the floor showed me that this was a well balanced show with a main stage in the middle along the back wall as well as model row leading up to the main stage, wich was home to Miss HIN 04' Natalie K. To the left was the Pepsi urban stage that hosted a break dance contest, MC battle, and a dance crew competition. Unfortunately I was never in that area during a competition. And way over on the other side of the hall was the VIP zone with some of the most expensive rides in the automobile industry. The VIP zone was also home to the premiere LA shop West Coast Customs who is now being featured on MTV's new show Pimp My Ride. Those guys were hella cool and had some dope shop rides including the Hot Wheels Cadillac Escalade. So after snapping pictures of Lamborghini's, Mercedes', BMW's, Jaguar's, and Porsche's and realizing I drive an S-10 and it was time to leave to photograph some beautiful industry models.
This show brings out the top girls and I think photographed everyone of them for you! And if the industry models weren't enough eye candy for you then HIN brought out four female DJ's to spin throughout the night. So when you throw your next party you might want to hire DJ Lady Tribe, or Playmate DJ's Tatiana & Diamond, or the lovely Miss Lisa. Model row wasn't the only place to find the hottest industry models, it seems like every vendor had a couple models bringing a crowd to there booth. Was that the end of the ladies? NO, HIN also had a couple of star studded boxes on the main stage where some of the Industry models could shake a little groove thing and throw prizes into the crowd. One last note would be the abrupt end to a fire dance by Masumi Max who was carried off stage after mooning the crowd. The crowd didn't seem to mind but I guess the police officer at the side of the stage felt that it was a no, no. I guess you will have to tune into Masumi's website to here her side of the story. And be sure to check out HotImportNights.com for a Vision Entertainment show near you. Enjoy the coverage!
