CCCN was held in Carlisle, PA last year in May. We rolled up to Carlisle on Friday the night before the show and there where cops everywhere at the hotels. If your in the area of the show your best bet is to get to your hotel room and just spend the night there until the show comes around. There was no shortage of alchohol, or parties going on in the hotels so it ended up to be a great night. The next morning after a slight disturbance, well just a kid getting a bottle broken over his head then beat down in the hallway, we headed off to the show. The show was packed with thousands of custom enthusiests, and custom rides from across the US. If you have been to any shows at carlisle you know how big the show field is and it was filled from one end all the way to the fences. There where some events that spectators could take place in which included the XXX Bikini Contest that turned into a girl on girl action event when two girls went down on each other in the crowd, and the much anticipated burnout contest. There where many vendors on hand with some of today's hottest body kits, rims, stereos, and lighting. If you are into speed, there was a dyno setup where you could compete with some of the most built up motors at the show. The show grounds where full of custom rides, from Jeremy Varners fully shaved and molded Cavalier, to one of the sickest Integra's I've yet to see with a full Skyline front and rear swap. There was no shortage of custom rides at this event, and if your not into big wings, and euro tails, and would rather see shaved clean rides laying on the ground this is a good show to check out. Just beware of the cops because they where out in full force, and they weren't giving any breaks. If you happen to hit up this car show next year, also beware of the roads up there, otherwise the show is a blast, and Carlisle hotels are always full of partying enthusiasts.By Doug Large
