Well I’ll try and keep this somewhat short. My weekend began hanging out with my boys from RA CA, PA and VA. Its always a good time when we all gather together and drink some beer and BBQ some good ol’ Mexican food. With all of us gathered up Saturday many of us would drink and eat while others pieced together Alfonso’s Civic along with buffing the new paint out before the show. As Sunday came most already headed to the show while us with no vehicles in our presence made the trip a few hours later. Upon our arrival we’d talk our ways through the gate in our stock Blazer to get a closer and much less of a walk parking space. Camera in hand I’d begin covering the show. This year’s event was jammed packed with a ton of clean custom rides and some new and upcoming projects. There where crazy modifications on display along with some off the wall suspension set-ups. Later in the day after the main coverage was done it was time to hit up the bikini contest where one of the contestants had a house arrest ankle bracelet showing her show dedication. One by one the ladies came out on stage helping to keep the FFF show experience what it should be. As the day was coming to a close all of us RA guys would pull our chairs in front of our rides and harass everybody that crossed our paths whether on foot or in their ride. Most of the rides that we told to drag either couldn’t or had a poor attempt at it. With that said Robert from our Central Cali chapter decided to show how it was done but was shortly kicked out of the show following his session. Oh good times…. Oh and to Pecker for puking on demand… “oh your that guy!” That was great. All in all it was once again a great Cali one day show and worth the travel to attend.Garrick Arends
