When fall rolls around there isn’t much to look forward to. Most of us are making plans for the winter. Whether we are planning a rebuild or a new project all together, but one thing to plan on is one of the best shows in the southeast. Once again Pebble Pushers hosted Scr8pfest and it was again a great show. We arrived at the show grounds shortly after eleven in the morning and the parking lot was already packed. Once we got parked and got the family out we made our way to the entrance which was covered with the entire Pushers’ rides. We met up with our friends from Xtreme Lowz and Negative Camber to get the lowdown on what we missed. Luckily we didn’t miss much of anything. We began our journey around the grounds taking pics and drinking beers. A few hours later we pack up and head to the hotel to get ready for the nights activities. We hit up Subway for some of the Jared diet and head back to the show. At dark the dragging began. After the dragging everyone moved towards the main stage for the wet t-shirt competition but unfortunately it didn’t happen due to a fight and a person getting ran over. So that ruined the night’s fun at the show site because we were made to leave.Sunday was the hydro and burnout comps. During the awards the mound of rubber from the burnout caught fire which gave a little more excitement for everyone. If you never have been to this show make it a must for next year. This show gets better every year and the boys in PP will be happy to see ya draggin through next year. Check out www.pebblepushers.com for more info for next year.Text by David Lippard (XLteg)rednteg@yahoo.comPhotos by David Lippard and Whiz
