Well, let me start by saying thanks to the entire Art of Noize crew and anybody else that was helping out. The show was well organized and the venue was perfect. With just under 300 entries, Bring the Noize has proven that quality will always outweigh quantity. This show is a perfect example of how AZ and CA are setting the standard on how to build, show, and drag some the sickest customs in the scene…nuff said.
Now, with that out of the way, let me tell you about our trip to Phoenix. We loaded up and left San Diego around 2pm, figuring a 5hr drive…we’ll make on time so we can rage the Fuel pre party. Well, our plans were cut a little short, thanks to a blown bag on the Colorado 2hrs into our drive. But, like true minitruckers, we fixed that B$@%! at a gas station in El Centro. So, 1 bottle jack, 2 trips to Home depot, and 3 hours later…we were back on the road. After dodging a ‘too low’ ticket from the local law enforcement, we rolled into PHX at last call. Too late for the Fuel party, but we made it, and that’s all that mattered.
Again, great one day show. I got to see a lot of Arizona customs that I normally wouldn’t see in California. I also got to finally meet some cool people from SSM in person. (Isn’t it funny how we all seem to introduce ourselves as our screen names from here?) HAHA.. anyways, this was my first trip out to Arizona and it will not be last. I’ll definitely make the trek to next years Bring the Noize show.
