With the exterior and suspension fitting his needs, Ernest would next work the interior and stereo. Starting with the dash, a nice coat of paint would be what Ernest was looking for along with other interior panels receiving the same treatment.   The rear seats would be ditched for a set of buckets to match the front and all 4 would be covered in cream-colored leather material.
