Next the back hatch was shaved of all of its unwanted options and APR roof wing was added. Once everything was in place it was color matched to the factory VW hue. Once the options matched the body Modern Image took Melissa's tribal graphics ideas and put them to good use in the form of red, blue and purple tribal graphics.

To keep the Cali sun from hurting her eyes the same tribal design was placed into the limo window tint of the Golf. For wheels Melissa decided to add Velox VR5 19x8.5 racing wheels wrapped in 235/35/19 Nitto tires.  Now that the car looked good it was time to add some ponies under the hood. Melissa started by adding a Hose Techniques hose kit, Split Second boost controller, custom ported and polished head, carbon fiber engine cover and an ABD quick flow intake with a K&N filter.
