Once the exterior was in retro fashion it was time to add the same flavor to the interior. Wanting to keep the original style of the interior Billy decided to keep the Apache upper part of the dash but fiberglass a new lower section. Once the dash was in perfect condition several other wears from the 88' donor were added for creature comfort.

The instrument panel, lighting controls and A/C controls were added to make life a lot easier. To keep in retro style Billy had Roy's Upholstery cover the 88' bench seat, door panels, headliner and dash in crazy burgundy retro velour. Not wanting to be without fresh tunes a Pioneer head unit and 6 ½" speakers were added to the cab.

So what's next for the retro Apache, well in the near future it will sport adjustable air bag suspension, Tim is going to finish shaving the body and big ass billet wheels. But as far as the decision to loose the primer in favor of the shinny stuff is still up in the air. So until then Billy's motto is nothing is finer then good ol' primer. Billy would like to thank all the people that keep this project moving in the right direction, Tim, Roy, Barry, Johnny and an extra special thanks to his wife Suzette for allowing him to keep working on his dream truck.
