"My first guinea pig was a Nissan Hardbody that belonged to a friend. I got a whopping $60 for painting a sunset graphic down the bedsides and tailgate. At 19 I moved to OK where I got in with a local mini truck club (Lower Level) painting their logos, and the rest is history." As you can see Charles was brought up through the scene with one of the best and his talent truly shows through with every vehicle he touches.

Back in October of 1995 Charles would pick up a '92 Toyota pick up to see if he could build the ultimate ride, and to build a street rod killer out of a mini truck. With putting in approximately $20,000 his cost on the build up it would take 5 years to complete and achieve his goal. With as much into the build up as Charles has, he would have it appraised with a certified appraisal value of roughly $93,000. Knowing that in order to capture all his goals he would need to build a true frame up and not to leave out any piece of metal un touched. For starters the frame would be smoothed out and the rear frame rails would be bridged to clear the newly narrowed rear end (narrowed 5-inches). Before adding to the frame rails, it would be painted for the full custom feel. Next a stainless Elite Street rod 4-link would be installed. With the rear set up in place he would next install a set of 2600lb Firestone Airsprings.
