Getting his new step side moving, the height would be the first item at hand. With help from his brother Neil, the frame rails would be equipped with a mini C-notch to allow room for axle travel. Next they would custom build a set of 33-inch ladder bars and a 42-inch panhard bar. Toxic shocks would be installed at all 4 corners for the smooth ride while the air ride system would allow the ride to be sitting at different levels.

The new improved stance would help bring the fenders down to the 22-inch Boze Wedge wheels wrapped snug in 285/35 Nitto tires.

With the ride height now at a livable level, it was time to work the exterior modifications. For beginners the stock hood would be ditched in favor of steel cowl hood variety. Billet inserts powder-coated silver by good friend J.D. Terry would then be installed into the grille shell.
