For most of us on the west coast, March means the beginning of show season, the start of sunny weather, and the anticipation of good times during the next 6 months or so on the road and at your favorite shows. If you live within a day’s driving distance of Riverside County, in southern California, then March also means the Forbidden Fantasy show is here again. Held at the Lake Perris fairgrounds in Perris, CA, this show has come to be known for plenty of debuted vehicles, numerous top notch builds being showcased, and an all-around fun and well organized show. This year was no exception. Saturday afternoon is open for people to come and drop off their show vehicles to avoid roll-in the next morning, and to get a sneak peak of what’s in store for Sunday. Saturday night is all about the hotel parties on Sunnymead in Moreno Valley, and all the local clubs partying in the surrounding towns. Sunday is a full day of sun and high quality trucks from one end of the fairgrounds to the other. Chassis by Aaron Iha brought out some insane customs, showing off how they are pushing the limits of what can and has never been done. Plenty of vendors were on hand, like Universal Air, BST clothing, Colorado Customs, and of course Mad House FX was there to provide music, and host the bikini contest and raffle, which had plenty of prizes from Grant Kustoms, Suicide doors, Bodied Clothing and West Coast Customs. With over 600 vehicles showing, there was plenty to look at. Plenty of clubs made big showings as well, such as No Regrets, Severed Ties, Freaks of Nature, Relaxed Atmosphere, Sunset, and Down to Earth just to name a few. If you’ve ever debated whether to make Forbidden Fantasy an addition to your yearly show schedule, anyone in attendance would likely tell you to mark next March as reserved, and to make the trip. Forbidden Fantasy, the club isn’t going anywhere and plans on 2011 being the 14th year for their show, and it’s sure to be bigger and better than ever.By Pete Abeyta
