Ask and you shall receive! That was the attitude DEFINITE OBSESSIONS had when they decided to move Sparks In The Ozarks from a dry county in Arkansas to the River Ranch Resort in Noel, Missouri. Beyond being in alcohol-friendly county, River Ranch Resort had everything you needed on site, leaving no reason to leave the grounds once you had arrived, including a lot of beer and the $20 bucket-o-fun in the bar!Once the gates opened up at 2 p.m. Friday, there was a steady stream of rides arriving for the three day event. Everyone quickly setup camp and once the sun went down the drinking began. Everywhere you went people were hanging out and having a good time. It was 4 a.m. before things finally died down, and everyone returned to their cabins or tents, but not before one body dropped S-10 ended up in the river. Remember, drunk driving is always a bad idea.Saturday got started with an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet that opened up right before the gates opened for day 2. With most people having arrived Friday, Saturday was at a much slower pace. Once registration was over, some events got began to get underway, including a frozen t-shirt contest & a chug contest that saw the winner puking on his brother-in-law afterwards. This kept everyone entertained while the judges did their thing. Once the sun was down, everyone headed to the Missouri/Arkansas state line for the drag contest. They got a good 20 minutes in before the law broke it up. However, no tickets were issued and everyone made it back safe and sound. Then the party really got kicked off. One camp brought out a foam machine and there were a couple different stripper poles getting all sorts of adult action all night long. Thankfully, nobody got out of hand and everyone had a great time.Sunday brought some unexpected rain so after everyone got up, the morning was mostly spent packing up camp and loading trailers. DEFINITE OBSESSIONS went ahead and got an early start handing out the awards, which included body dropped Radio Flyer wagons for class and best of awards as well as some specialty awards donated by a few different sponsors. The club would like to thank everyone who came out to support the show and the Dave Swanson memorial build, which will debut at Sparks In The Ozarks 5, October 1-3, 2010. They also want to thank all the sponsors including River Ranch Resort, Cambered Videos, Wilson Auto Body, Endless Sound, Graphic Disorder, KIK, DropEm Wear?, Get Stroked, No Law The Video, Guilty By Design, Suicide Doors, Stone Cold Customs, Easy Scrape Customs, Burk’s Chop Shop, Atom’s Graphics, Fat Man Fabrication and Suicidal Customs.By Richard Bruner
