The 2nd Annual Drop Em Wear Cruise In located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina at the Drop Em Wear headquarters was a blast for all. With it being only the second year for this event, rides from up and down the entire east coast were there representing, even one from the U.S. Virgin Islands, making for a very nice turnout. This show was tons of fun for everyone involved. Drop Em Wear gear was given out as prizes for a variety of games, such as hot dog eating, half gallon chocolate milk chug, marshmallow face stuff, two nuts in a pie, super hot wing eating, putting on the frozen T-shirt, and the 40 oz. beer chug (I.D. required of course). With plenty of chances for people to win something beyond one of the unique show trophies, everyone had an opportunity to walk away with something from this show. On a special note, owners John Beebe and Jennie Hendrex got engaged during the awards ceremony, a total surprise to Jeannie. John thought what a better place to ask for Jennie’s hand in marriage then surrounded by the people and scene they love. Oh, and in case you were wondering, Jennie did say, “YES!” Congratulations goes to the both of you and maybe there could be a show at the wedding as well (just a though lol).
