With the frame and suspension completed, Jeff started on the exterior of the step-side. Before painting his truck, Jeff smoothed the steps and cowl and a smoothie front bumper and rear roll pan were added. The gas filler door was shaved and relocated to the bed and an 88 Camaro 18 gallon gas tank was relocated into the bed. After the necessary body adjustments were complete, paint was next on the agenda.

The crew from Carefree then laid a Kandy Tangerine by House of Kolor, over the entire truck. Next, they added the triple flames using white, yellow, orange, two different reds and purples, all from House of Kolor. The pinstriping was done with green, purple and blue applied by Wizard. Other notable exterior accessories include the Trenz grille insert and clear tails. In order to roll around to the shows and keep the engine looking as good as the rest of the truck, Jeff applied a few upgrades. A new water pump, alternator, pullies, valve cover, injectors, air cleaner and intake system all by Street & Performance were installed. Lots of chrome plating and polishing fill the engine bay while everything else is painted with flames and skulls visible throughout. A Boag exhaust system was also added to beef up the performance and sound of Jeff's V8.
