Picking up a Honda four-door Accord for about $6500 back in 97, it was supposed to be Misty’s daily driver, but that idea was short lived. After time, their relationship grew to be serious and Troy just happened to adopt the car and went to town with body mods. Although the build-up of their bucket only took about a year, Troy swears that it will never be complete. Even after putting over 10k more to into it, that didn't bother him because he builds vehicles for the fun of hitting all the shows he can and traveling. Now that he had adopted a new project, it was time to get busy with it. One of the first things to do would have to be the ride height where he wanted it. In the rear of the Accord, Troy custom-built brackets to mount a set of Firestone airbags along with a set of Monroe shocks. Once the rear was sitting down, it was time to get the front level with the rear. In order to do this Troy had to custom build new brackets for the Firestone Airbags and Monroe shocks. Now that the accord was lying flat, it needed some wheels to set it off. 18” KMC Gnomes wrapped in 215/35/ZR 18’s to tuck in the wheel wells were used for this. And may I say it was all in good taste. Riding smooth and low, it was time to start working the body to give it a smooth appearance. The first thing that had to go were the door handles.

The license plate box in the trunk lid along with the license plate holes in the front bumper were next and the molding followed suit. Troy, always looking for the one-off idea, decided to custom mold the front grille and add his own personal touch. Other notable bodywork is shaved hood squirters, antenna, and the seams under the smoked taillights. Troy himself performed all of the bodywork. After removing the car of all unnecessary items, it was time to apply the paint. To do this, Troy went to Ray Bice of Glamour Works in St. George, Utah for help.
