Dustoff is like a homecoming for me, before I chose to go my separate way in the show seen Xposed Visionz was my family. I was with XV from the beginning long before the first Dustoff was even a thought. The first 2 Dustoffs were held at AMC 30 movie theatre in Mesquite TX. With 2 shows behind them and planning on they're third the parking lot that was home to this great show was sold and another restaurant was built. In other words Dustoff had to be moved, after months of searching XV found a new home for Dustoff 2001. In my eyes I honestly believe that these guys could not have picked a better spot. The new location is in a little town called Seagoville not even 10 minutes away from the old location and right off the highway so the show was very very easy to find. Friday night before the show I new that this would be the best dustoff yet, as I was driving home from my girlfriends house I drove by the local carwash and it was packed with custom rides preparing for the next day. I stopped and talked to a few people and they all seemed excited about the show and ready to hang out and look at some bad ass rides. With all this excitement I decide I would show my motorcycle and join in on the fun. After waking up early enough to load up the bike on the trailer I was on my way to dustoff 2001. As I pulled up I new this was going to be a long, fun day. XV had 100 cars entered in the first hour of the show and many more would be showing up soon. After having a minor mishap unloading the bike it was time for me to do a little walking around and get familiar with the show grounds. I have learned my lesson about trying to get an early jump on taking show shots…..Its a lot easier to sit around until the last car is entered and then walk around and take pictures of the cars cause then you are not running back and forth. Luckily around noon or so Ben "Manwhore" showed up to give me some well-needed help. This show had some of the baddest rides to offer any spectator. Pleasures and Lower Level from Oklahoma along with Negative Camber brought out some nice rides along with Brandt's unveiling of his Tacoma, but needless to say none of these clubs could compare in numbers to the Dallas based Explicit Concepts bringing out close to 40 rides. As I walked around meeting all the wonderful fans of streetscenemag.com I was able to put some faces with the names, and I was able to hit up Lesser Degree and Gravity Permits for beer, which wasn't the best idea since I still had to pull out some features.

With Ben keeping an eye on EC and what crazy shit they were doing it was time for me to start shooting a few features but before I could barely get started here comes Big Carl and Kyle from XV with a few EC members in the back taking a 6wheeler for a test drive through a ditch and into the rear corner of a spectators car. With this going on moments later my best friend "BIGDAVE" decides he is going to do his impression of an Olympic swimmer and try to swim across the pond but all the beer he drank weighed him down and he was unable to make it. With all this fun and excitement the day was coming to an end and Ben and I had to make our decision on the very first ever streetscenmag.com "choice" and for me It was very hard with all the nice rides out there and it took everything I had to remember that damn number, all I could remember was "the s-10 with the cool seats".lol. With the day coming to a close it was time for awards and they went by fast for me, from what I could tell the judges did a great job and everybody who should of won, did. I was very impressed with the selection of outstandings given out. It wasn't like a deja vue from the show before. But to wrap things up I think Dustoff was a great show and I am very proud of XV and the job they did. I am also very proud of Big Carl and his dedication of the Club Participation trophy to Jimmy from Lower Level and the clubs that are presumed dead and then here they come out in full force. I would like to thank XV and all those who support streetscenemag.com for their dedication, Ben for all his help and lastly I would like to thank Big Ass and EC for not throwing me in the pond.
