The first step of installation on the beast is to open the old hood and remove the bolts holding the hood on the hinges. I'd grab a friend to help you cause this is a pain to do by yourself, trust me I know. In this picture (below) you can see the hood removed showing the Z24 2.4L engine.  Now, lie the hood down on a soft surface so you can remove the hood latch from the old hood (we need it for the new one).

   Now simply reattach the hood latch to the new hood in the exact opposite way you took it off
