When it comes to the show industry amongst the import world, one cannot help but mention Hot Import Nights, or better known as HIN. I've been fortunate enough through out the past 3 years to attend this spectacular event in the Southern California area, and have found my way up to the rainy city of Seattle, Washington now for the second straight year. When we first arrived in the Seattle area the weather was actually not to bad considering it was pretty much still winter in the rainy city. The weather looked as if it was pretty much going to rain but Luckily for us Hot Import Nights is an indoor event so it didn't matter either way. After getting our press pass situation worked out we then found ourselves bypassing the long lines and found our way into the event an hour or so before the crowd was allowed in. Once inside I took the camera out and began snapping photos while we scooped out the show. This was my little girls first show so she was excited to see all of the flashing lights with the displays. With the show pretty much shot and the crowd filing in, the decision was to start shooting model shots before the crowds where so profuse that we couldn't capture them via the camera. There were plenty of venders in attendance showing off their new rides, products and hot girls in there clothing. Vendors set up around the show where companies such as Audiobahn, APC, Meguiars, Toyo along with many others. With a few hours behind us, the crowd was unbearable so the camera was put away and we just walked around talking with vendors and checking out new products. The over all representation of the show was great and there were lots to do to occupy your time. In each building there where about 6 different DJ's strutting their stuff along with teams of break dancers showing their latest moves. On the main stage there were even girls pole dancing. With HIN being nation wide now, I'm looking forward to covering many more of their shows and enjoying every minute of them.By: Garrick Arends
