One word sums up the quality of the rides at this year Import Revolution in Chicago… Wow. There is a whole new crop of rides in the scene this year. It seems that the import car show scene is steering away from wild body conversions and crazy graphics and concentrating more on real clean paint jobs and more under hood bling… did I just say bling. Doh! Area shops were out in full force to get their grips on your wallet and to show off their new rides. Driver's Image from Skokie, IL had their freshly completed Nissan 350Z. It is a work of art on wheels. They took an already badass car and chopped it up and made it even better; complete with a custom audio and video install. Tons of models were on hand to shake their moneymakers and keep the crowd standing at attention, especially the girls from LiteGlow. If you've been locked in your garage or stuck in the SSM chat for the past few years, you should definitely get out and check out an Import Rev. show when it hits a town near you.
