Once the paint and clear was dry Chico moved on to step two. Chico called upon AirRide Technologies for the parts needed to plant the open air cruiser firmly on the ground.

AirRide supplied the Shockwaves up front and the bags for the rear. AirRide also supplied the 3/8" valves needed to plumb the air system backed up by two Viar 450 compressors and a two five gallon tanks. To allow more breathing room for the rear axle a 5" step notch was installed to the rear frame section.

Once the truck was able to get itself off the ground it needed new wheels and tires, so Chico decided that a set of 18" Eagle 212's wrapped in Nitto 245/40/18's would be perfect for the front but the rear needed something bigger so a set of the 20" Eagle 202's were added to the rear wrapped in Nitto 235/35/20 tires.
