Can anyone believe it, March 06 is here and it is already car show season again. The winter never seems long enough for those who are building their new rides for the season or tearing down and redoing their old ones. It was time for us to head out to Lumberton Texas to cover the Breakin Out 06 car show at the Lumberton High School. What a wonderful weekend to have a show, temperature in the 70 to 80’s, nice cool breeze, who wouldn’t want to pull their ride off and show everyone what they have been working on all winter.We got their about 10 am and watched everyone roll in for registration till about noon and then we headed off for lunch and to enjoy the show. The lil Raiderettes attending this years show to show some school spirit and to help hype up the crowd. Beaumont Hydraulics showed up with a booth and to show off some of the items they had for sale. Lumberton off-road had a nice booth with some nice parts to show off, who knows when someone will need a new compressor or a few valves for those that burned up on the way down.During the day this show gathers everyone up and heads off to downtown Lumberton for a cruise through the city, everyone loves to cruise. After that we headed back for the award ceremony, one day shows are fun but it seems like they just fly by when you are having fun. Later on that evening everyone was hanging out and visiting waiting on the Neon contest. Next year put down Breakin out 06 for your list of shows to attend, this year’s show was a benefit fundraiser for graduation of the class of 06. Well until the next show you guy’s better hurry up and get those rides done, the show season is growing and you don’t have much time.By fish
